Wes Streeting Adopts US Denial Of Healthcare Stopping Your GP Referring You To a Specialist
NHSE language used hides the true intent - Us system denies healthcare and is the basis for Government NHS policy
The US system of denial of healthcare is well embedded in all decision being made by ex-US healthcare leaders such as Samantha Jones NHS CEO and Wes Streeting who has received over £200,000 in payments from organisations with interests in private healthcare.
The lates change to GPs procedures when dealing with patients attending their practice is to deny them from being able to be directly referred to a specialist!
Instead, a series of email conversations between your doctor and a specialist will take place with the aim of avoiding any such referral!
Given the corporate name of 'Advice and Guidance (A&G), the new mandatory system for GPs stops them from giving their patients a direct referral, even when the GP knows the patient's health condition requires a speediest appointment.
"Advice and Guidance (A&G) services are a key part of the National Elective Care Recovery and Transformation Programme’s work.". says Streeting and the NHS England website.
But what they call 'Best Practice' is actually a forked-tongue dictate to all GPs, as can be seen with previous guidance that GPs have not agreed with, and so the Government then financially incentivises GPs to abide by the dictate.

Further, the system ensures that an electronic audit trail of patient health is maintained, without which no referrals can be made by the GP.
This means that the governments intended Federated Platform of 100% of UK NHS Patients medical records, provided by US spy and War Company Palantir, will have immediate access to anyone's healthcare and medical conditions as and when they wish it.
Palantir’s technology is used by the Israeli military and in the US president’s ICE immigration crackdown.
In 2023 it signed a £330m deal with the NHS, which has sparked resistance from doctors, and a £240m contract with the Ministry of Defence in December 2025, which prompted MPs to highlight “reports of serious allegations of complicity in human rights violations and the undermining of democratic processes made against Palantir.”
Now last month, the same company has been given unlimited access to ALL DATA held on financial databases used by the Government departments to fight fraud and serious crime!
The reasons for the new A&G system is excused by the NHSE bosses as the urgent need to minimise waiting lists asap, by simply NOT ADDING ANY PATIENTS to Consultants and Specialists patient lists!
Stop all Referrals, and the witing list goes away! That is the policy of Wes Streeting and the Labour Government rather than employing more doctors and nurses, along with the dumbing down of healthcare by using non-doctors such as Physician Associates, Nurse Associates and Anaesthesia Associates in operating thereters rather than fully trained medical staff!
NHS England says in its website:
"Growth in demand has meant that hospital outpatient visits have increased significantly over the past decade. The NHS Long Term Plan includes a commitment to redesign outpatient services so that patients will be able to avoid up to a third of face-to-face outpatient appointments over the next five years. This will remove the need for up to 30 million outpatient visits a year; saving patients time and improving their experience."
Once again, the wording is that of a forked tongue snake, pretending to be caring for the patient by the phrase "patients will be able to avoid..." When in reality patients DO WANT to see specialists with regard to serious health conditions.
In doing so it builds in further delays for patients being referred appropriately for treatment.
The NHS England website continues:
"Mobilising A&G services will help transform the way referrals are managed by improving the interface and facilitating shared decision making between primary and secondary care. Through better enabled communication, A&G provides GPs with access to consultant advice on investigations, interventions and potential referrals. This helps manage non-urgent (elective) patients in the most appropriate setting, helping reduce unnecessary referrals into secondary care."
So, who is it that decides referrals are unnecessary? Are GPs being accused of wasting consultant’s time with referrals? Where is the data to support this assertion?
There isn't any!
The reality is that Streeting and Starmer want digital and AI services to take over from GPs, Doctors, and nurses and use local charity and private organisations to treat as many NHS patients as possible, irrespective of their training experience, knowledge and medical training levels.
We have over 4,000 locum doctors without employment as a result of this Government's Tory policy and wish to turn the NHS into a money-spinning profit orientated and private organisation based on the US system of healthcare denial where insurance companies determine the need for treatment and NOT medically trained personnel.
